Why We Started
Tampa’s in-home care specialists since 2012.
Sunrise was founded by a registered nurse who spent 15 years in elder care facilities and kept seeing the same problem: seniors who could thrive at home were ending up in facilities far too early because their families couldn’t find reliable, professional in-home support.
We built Sunrise to be the answer to that problem — a true home care agency with rigorous caregiver vetting, professional care coordination, and the flexibility that real families need. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee — hourly care carries a four-hour visit minimum, and beyond that the schedule is yours to change week to week.
Today we serve seniors throughout Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and the broader Tampa Bay area — with a team of 40+ caregivers and a care coordination team available 24/7.
Our Team
The people we would send to your parent.
Every Sunrise caregiver passes a thorough background check, reference verification, and skills assessment before entering a client’s home. We only hire people we’d trust with our own families.

Our Standards
The bar we set for every caregiver.
Background Screening
Every caregiver passes a national criminal background check, sex offender registry check, DMV records check, and reference verification before their first placement.
Skills Assessment
We assess each caregiver’s skills in personal care, dementia support, medication management, and emergency response before they join our team.
Ongoing Supervision
Our care coordinators conduct regular check-ins, in-home visits, and client satisfaction calls throughout every client relationship. We don’t place a caregiver and disappear.
